Relaxing massage can be very beneficial to improving the circulatory system but also the lymphatic system and to calm the nervous system. Therapeutic massage will go one step farther beyond relaxing and will focus on those problem areas that need more mobility and release. *See below for pricing to add on Basic Aromatherapy or Specialized Aromatherapy.
Deep tissue will use an increase of pressure in problem areas and will work into deeper layers of the muscle tissue. Therapists include the use of forearms, elbows and knuckles as needed. While we have therapists skilled in deep pressure, remember that deeper is not always better and "no pain no gain" is not a phrase we go by. The level should be comfortable; client should not tense or hold breath because this is a sign less pressure should be used. *Amanda & Arianna.
Prenatal massage is one of the best therapies that a woman could do for herself and her baby while being pregnant. Despite some of the myths, there is no indication of negative side effects of massage in the 1st trimester or beyond with trained professionals. We do offer this from the beginning of your pregnancy up to the day you are going in to deliver. Deep tissue, however, is not advised. *Offered by all therapists.
Special trigger points will be focused on to relieve tension in the head along with facial/sinus work when needed, scalp work, and a lot of neck and shoulder work. With our specialized essential oil therapists, there may be some Young Living oils incorporated to aid in relief. Cold stone is also a great option for head pains. *Offered by all therapists.
Sport massage is typically a deeper massage that will most often involve more movement and mobilization or stretching during the treatment depending on the "sport" or activity the client performs.
MFR will begin with a postural assessment. MFR treats the entire Myofascial mind/body complex, eliminating the pressure of the restricted Myofascial system that causes symptoms. It will safely & gently release the entire Myofascial complex for lasting & comprehensive results & authentic healing, physically & emotionally. *Clients should wear a swimsuit or sports bra with shorts/underwear. Intermediate Level Therapist: Amanda; Beginning Level Therapist: Yami
Lymphatic Massage is a light, deeply relaxing treatment along the lymphatic system that stimulates the immune system by increasing lymph flow, aids with subacute or chronic inflammatory processes, is a preventative therapy at change of season & general wellness, and stimulates the parasympathetic nervous system. *Amanda and Yami.
For Hot Stone Massage, relaxing pressure and/or a gentle therapeutic pressure is used with heated stones to deepen relaxation and melt away muscle tension; especially to warm up during the cold seasons. For Cold Stone massage, chilled marble stones can be used to release deep trigger points, reduce inflammation and aid in relieving head aches & migraines. *Yami and Amanda (only Amanda for Cold Stone).
High Quality, Clean CBD Massage oil is used during a therapeutic massage treatment to enhance the benefits of massage. CBD can help reduce pain, invigorate you, and create a calming and cooling sensation during the massage. The addition of CBD into a massage session has been said by clients to have more lasting results than massage sessions without CBD.
This treatment includes the use of massage cups of various sizes and material (cups use a reverse pressure or suction of the tissue) on the muscular problem areas in order to promote blood flow and circulation, loosen adhesions, release trigger points and flush out toxins in the area in order to promote healing to the "issues in the tissues". *Yami, Amanda, Arianna.
Our gua sha technique is used for soft tissue release of the muscle. This treatment includes the use of GuaSha tools during your massage treatment. GuaSha is from Chinese medicine over 2,000 years ago. It is also commonly known as scraping. It aids in muscle pain relief along with clearing out the congestion in the area by breaking up adhesions to promote a healing process. *Yami, Amanda.
